according to local news, the remains of the house have been torn down and hauled off. now that I look at the burn pattern, I suspect there were squatters either under the house or on the porch, and their campfire got out of control. I can't say that with any certainty without looking more closely than the picture, but that would be consistent with the fire pattern.

Question for the mods... we have moved away from Photographs here, and are polluting the thread.... Any chance all of this recent discussion can be moved "To its own thread" ... I am sure we had one for just transport related subjects in the watercooler but buggered if I can find it?. If not, can one be created.
