I took a ride in the CAF B-29 FiFi. The view from the bombardier seat was awesome. The men and women who built and flew these aircraft even more awesome My seat from the outside Caught our shadow I sat between the pilots, the seat folds to let you in A really beautiful day

My uncle was a belly gunner on a B-17 in WWII. One of the fortunate ones, did his 25 missions and came home.
I love the WWII airplanes. The sound of those piston engines is amazing.

Friend of mine has a Mazda.... It sounds TERRIBLE. It sounds like something serious is wrong with it?... more like the kid that stuck a playing card on his forks to get a thrummmmming as it gets hit by the spokes as he rides?.....
He tells me its absolutely the right sound and that is how its supposed to be?... I couldnt drive that, it would annoy me.

Mazda's Wankel sounds ok if it's running right. Problem is trying to find one that is running correctly. I have a V-10 in my Ford Excursion. Never noticed anything abnormal about the sound of it. Only thing "wrong" is the way it uses fuel. Of course, it's a Ford, not a Viper.
