Anyone know where I could find Rick's photo of a blown up Colt Anaconda?
For that matter, what happened to Rick? I don't think I've geard from him in a while.

I think I found it. This one looks familiar, unlike the one with a red dot scope that kept popping up in searches.

Hi, yes, It's been awhile since I've been here, life gets really busy sometimes.
Yes, that IS the topless Anaconda that I photographed.
The blog is by LeeRoy Wisner, not me.
I got on his site and asked why he hadn't posted any gunsmith Ramblings yet, and asked if he remembered the topless Anaconda when it came into his shop, and we examined it.
He asked if I still had pictures, so I sent him that one, and, he posted his gunsmith Ramblings right after that.
LeeRoy is quite a guy, as you can read on his site, LOTS of good stuff there, and hours of reading.
I worked for him a little, but mostly I worked for his son, who made custom sporting rifle parts, sights, scope rings, safeties, triggerguards, etc.
For a few years, LeeRoy's and his son's shop were right next door to each other, so I saw him quite a bit, and would fill in making parts if they needed me.
I was there for about ten years.
Hopefully, now that life has slowed down a little, I'll be back more often.
