Haven't been here in awhile, just about forgot it was here. Anyway, 'twixt work and family life I've been pretty tied up. However, I did get to go up to near Tulsa a couple of week ends ago and shoot in Ruckus in the Nations, the Oklahoma State Championships of Cowboy Action Shooting. They even created a category for three of us called Frontiersman Gunfighter. The Frontiersman part means you must use cap and ball revolvers and BP in rifle and shotgun, the Gunfighter part means you must have a gun in each hand, alternating shots between each gun. It is not a SASS recognized category. One of the shooters was from Missouri, so he could win the category, but not be the Oklahoma State Champion. The other shooter from Oklahoma was DQ'd because he dropped a loaded gun. So even though I came in third of the three, I am the Oklahoma State Champion Frontiersman Gunfighter. It's not the way I wanted to win, but rules are rules, so I'll take it.
Here's a little video I made with iKam glasses, shooting Stage 9. This was my best stage of the match.
