New Episodes of Mythbusters will start airing on Discovery UK in Summer 2014. I have no information as to when episodes will appear on US TV I'm afraid.
This is the official word, and comes from an unquestionable source.
Cybermortis.

Yes, for the UK at least. I don't have any information about US airdates, although I believe Adam posted that new episodes would be airing in the new year a while back.
Apparently this was as much a shock to the Mythbusters as everyone else. It seems that Discovery Channel is dedicated to the idea of keeping everyone in the dark for as long as they can.

Got to keep the airtime open for all the idiotic reality show spin offs.

Gold Rush, Jungle Gold, Underwater Gold. Then there are the 3-4 Alaska shows, and 4-5 survival shows. Just no room on the schedule for anything actually educational.
I wouldn't mind seeing MB shifted to the Science Channel as its new home.

...or the CRAP channel - Channel for Reality Adventure Programming. I think we have a winner. of course, don't tell them the acronym. even they might be able to catch it if you spell it out for them.

How about putting it all on BBC4.... You never heard of BBC4?... Well, thats because its one of "Those" channels... Minority audience shows that they have to do to be proven impartial.

MB doesn't seem like BBC4 material, somehow...

I was thinking about BBC Four. Is there a reality TV channel called BBC4?
