I just wonder how long it will be till it shows (if ever) on TV here in Australia. It looks like Netflix Aus. has the same original content that we have here in the states. If you don't have Netflix you could wait till all the episodes have aired and then sign up for a free trial. The free trial usually runs for 30 day and then binge watch and cancel.

I have broadcast TV, which is bloody useless, I have Cable, and because I have smarts tv, I have free-sat as well. So what has netflix got that I cant get with the cable I pay for my Broadbanned through?.. except one or two shows that I may not get on Cable.

It depends on what you want.
The on demand nature of Netflix and the deeper disc library gave me better entertainment options than cable, at half the cost. Their own shows are better than what's on cable over here, as well, in my opinion.
Cable around here is mostly CSI:Who Cares, Law and Order:I Don't, reality TV, and other such drek that don't interest me.

cable here is all normal BBC ITV Channel 4 and all other free channels, Discovery, all free CSI:my-neighbours, Hawai-50-cents, all the usual crap and a few premium Sky1, just not the pay-for-view extra sports premium I dont care channels or any sports pay for view crud. I HAVE to pay to get broad-banned. I have to pay for line rental and phone, and what I pay them is no better than any other company, so the extra premium view channels like that netflix, I wouldnt get them without what I already pay?..

Okay, perhaps it's because I have the Hopper that it's available, that was not something I had considered. But it is in my regular channel listing (in addition to the app) somewhere up around the 300's or 400's.

I recently found a free web site that they upload TV shows to so I think I'll wait a bit & see if they are going to add white Rabbit to it, if they don't I'll take your Netflix suggestion.

I will probably do the Netflix trial thingy as I don't stream my TV, but I am happy to see that they are coming back to TV and still trying to challenge people to think. I definitely had a smile on my face when they announced that the new show was coming.

I wonder if they're going to take ideas/suggestions for this new show from the various Fan Sites?

I think fan submissions went through Dan Tapster, who you may note isn't listed as being involved. There might also be issues using anything that came from the Discovery boards, as the disclaimer they had was a little more specific in naming Discovery.
The disclaimer on TC is more generic, and only mentions Beyond Productions. Even then it makes it clear that ideas could, basically, end up being picked up by anyone. So if they wanted to use ideas from here they could. However the only person who's name i see listed who would have heard of the board is Kari.
