How do video and DVD rental stores still survive? www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-30953306If this was near here, I may even dig my old Video player out of retirement?... But then again, you can get many of those older films streamed now cant you?

www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-31157107Erm... 'Suse me for being "fick" or summat, but if yer account was hacked, just get a new one?... www.buzzfeed.com/matthewzeitlin/scott-rudin-on-obama-i-bet-he-likes-kevin-hart#.ol12aZ2EKThis above shows some of the email exchange hacked. I dont see anything but personal details and a query to exactly what should she say to the Pres without looking stupid.... I aint offended, and if the exchange was a good way of things to perhaps avoid, even if tongue-in-cheek, it was a good way to find out what would be the wrong thing to say?.... Now if it had been me, I would have got a hold of the other party in the exchange, and mutually agreed that the exchange never took place and it was all an invention of hostile attackers. But then protecting my own privacy means I would lie like a cow on new bedding to protect what I have.... And quite rightly so as well. On ANY private and confidential information, you dont just admit to anything at all until you have no other choice. And you always have a choice...... Its not as if they were discussing terrorist activity is it?...

Twitter boss admits firm is failing victims of trollingHastag Twitter needs Moderators. #twitterneedsmods ..?... Well, Duh, Yeah, its bigger dan dey dun fink?..... One guy (or an inappropriate small team) investigating complaints and not having enough weight to do something is just not good enough is it?... www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-31146659I have an idea..... Ok, maybe a work in progress. They need MODERATORS. For every "Report post" button pressed, there should be someone available within an acceptable time period to go investigate what is happening... Acceptable time period, within half hour?.. Abilities to include suspension of accounts that create the abuse whilst investigations take place, removal of abusive posts RIGHT NOW, the ability to remove re-tweets of the abuse.... You know, the "Buttons" that most Mods get to deal with problems.

Millions hit by health company hack attackAnthem, America's second largest health insurer, has lost millions of customer records to hackers. The attackers stole names, addresses, birthdays and social security numbers of customers from every one of Anthem's business units. So far, Anthem has not said how many records were lost or how many people have been affected. However, security experts believe personal details about tens of millions of people could have gone missing. The FBI is involved..... www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-31144917

www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-31134938So he quit the site... so should know who is now in charge. Either way, he profited from the site, he created it, he knew what was happening there. Guilty. Of exactly how many charges I am not sure, but guilty of being an important part of it. Detain him and find out exactly How MUCH he was a part of it.

Question on the above.... Maybe we should think of Amazon here as a example. If hosting a web site is NOT a crime, how is it not a crime if you know whats being done there, which you know is illegal?..
If, for instance, Amazon found adverts on its site for illegal drugs and firearms, What would they do?. I know they would, because they promise to do so, investigate remove suspend accounts and prevent further activity, as far as passing on the details to relevant authorities and crime prevention officers.
Therefore, if that is the "Right" thing to do, and in fact their legal obligation to do, doing nothing is a crime?...
Quitting ownership of a site that allows illegal activity is not good enough.
If you own the site, you have "The keys". Having the keys is the ability to self-detonate the self destruct and remove the site completely.
So therefore, owning and running or hosting a web site that allows and promotes illegal activity is a crime. Supporting anyone who does so is association with crime.
Where I support freedom of interest, I heavily suggest and demand that you also stick to the law, be that of your own country, state, or international law. If you dont agree with a law, appeal, join the pressure group, get it changed. Dont just break the law "On principal" If you are not part of the solution, why be part of the problem?.... Mass demonstration is pressure group activity.. demonstrate, yes, smash up the system by vandalism is not needed, and illegal. For good reason.

You know, the "Buttons" that most Mods get to deal with problems. As far as I know (and I admit, I don't know much, because I don't do social media) Twitter is concidered to be a viable alternative to the mass spying machine that is Fakebook. Now people are leaving Twitter too, because there's not enough moderation and trolling is too easy. MySpace has been more or less dead for years and there are limits to what you can do on Google+ and Instagram. Are we finally seeing some sort of awakening among users? Is it finally dawning on them that they have a choise and as such can make demands about what they find acceptable and what they don't? The potential for social media to do some good in the world is certainly there and they are being used for good now, but there's just too much bad going on behind the scenes that people don't seem to have taken serious note of for the past 10 years. Has the time finally come? Is the public at large finally taking off the hazy goggles that Fakebook got them to put on when it all began and seeing the truth? I hope we're finally there.

1,000 mph... faster than a jet fighter..... My mind of officially boggled, because this is MythBusters for Petrolheads on Steroids. This is the world land speed record about to be shattered. And as I have had Thrust SSC engine parts on the back of my Wagon, I am fascinated, and involved, as I have been following this story quietly elsewhere for a long long time.... I just thought maybe some of you may be interested?.... www.bloodhoundssc.com/The official site for anyone that is. 1,000 mph office, hey Andy, you got spherical's of pure platinum boy, I applaud you. www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2015/02/who-s-the-third-party-that-samsung-and-lg-smart-tvs-are-sharing-your-voice-data-with/index.htmSamsung. From what I can find out so far.... If you use your voice recognition to go search the internet, it "shares" your text search terms with Google. It also shares your voice with the firm that makes the voice recognition, in order to get a better translation, peoples accents, especially strog accents, are of great interest, in translations. Also, if you are searching for terrorist type activity, it sort of has a duty of care to report such to the authorities. Otherwise, over-reaction may be more than actual actions on this story... Yes it does share, but only where needed?... Or does someone know more than me here?.. which I dont doubt, I am just trying to sort truth from conspiracy theorists... which we all know can be a little confusing. However, for the concerned, this sort of explains a bit..... That is from the supplied link..... Extra to this, from what I can find out, they aint the only one. Its by knowing what people are searching for that helps provide a better product. Its also by knowing what they cant do that a lot of people ask for that also provides a list of "Maybe we should think of this" to development people.... I am told that the shouted "Mute" command is supplied to some sets to aid people who either dont want to hear adverts or want to hear personal conversations above the TV. I am also told that Advertising people are highly interested in the idea of getting customer feedback.... "Get ter (beep) with that" may be what you shout about products you cant believe are real because who the (beep) thought people want that kind of (beep) ... And those are terms I have heard in my own house.... Interest in people who see an advert say "I want one of that" and the TV automatically goes google on you to provide you with a link to the website?... Well, you see, its this kind of research..... But again, conspiracy and conspiring, it can cause headlines.
