This is just an suggestions:
Is it possible to either pull the camera back or use a wider angle shot/lense? A wider shot would look more professional. If you notice news casters shoot from the desk to the head. In addition to the person not taking up as much of the camera, it allows additional room next to you for displays. Either added in in Post production or next to you while filming.
Finally, can you raise the camera up so that it is level with your face? The current angle make it feel like you are talking/looking down on the camera. Both in a metaphorical and literal sense.
Both things would help to give the production a high level of quality.

It's actually a digital camera that has the ability to take video. It's pretty low-end as far as things go. |

Just a small thing when you adjust the zoom function on the camera the mic cuts out . I noted that in the video description; I didn't notice it until after I'd already posted the video. It's actually a budget-model digital camera I'm using; the video aspect is secondary to the photos. My guess is it just can't handle both. |

I get similar issues with my camera when it shoots video, now I tend to find the zoom leel,Imwant for the whole shot and leave it there. Although I am only taking holiday snaps. For wind noise a little cotton wool,taped over the microphone with some microporous tape does wonders. |
