Great Idea, WSN.
Ok, here's a fun video. While it's not actually a news report, I did first find the link on a major news site.
Anyone that has or had kids, knows they are attracted to puddles. Well, I guess that holds true of the animal kingdom also.

Thanks GTC I'm sure everyone is very familiar with Charles Ramsey, but I thought I'd post this article about him anyway. Makes you feel good when people do good things and get recognition for it. I love the fact that he wants any 'reward' money to go to the victims. He really is a hero!

For the past 36+ hours we've been in and out of heavy rain in my area.
While I was delivering papers this morning, I noticed a rainbow in the sky while making one of my bundle drops. One end of the rainbow was positioned near a neighborhood where I make my final drop, and so I got to see it for about a mile or so.
During which time a bolt of lightning flashed behind said rainbow.
Seriously - what are the odds that I was able to witness both at once?

I'd say about the same as the mythbusters being able to frame a shot of a boat sailing through a rainbow.

Now that I'd pay to see.

These pictures are amazing, but it's absolutely INCREDIBLE that they are of real places. If this doesn't lift your spirits, I think you're a lost cause

I got to the bamboo fields and had to laugh...
Can a six foot bamboo pole hide in a bamboo forest? ;D

My six-year-old daughter lost her first tooth earlier tonight. It had been lose for about a week or so. She was eating corn on the cob. We can't find it. (She probably swallowed.) So, mommy helped her write a note for the tooth fairy to explain the predicament.
What's the going price for a lost tooth nowadays? (In all honesty, I've heard of teeth going for anywhere from $1 to $20...)

I think for the first tooth we gave a couple $$, but subsequent teeth only get a $1.
When I was a kid, a quarter was a score.

If the "tooth fairy" was feeling generous, might have gotten two quarters.

So what'd the fairy end up leaving?

$3...it was what the Fairy found without having to hand out a $20...
