How can we make something so simple, so complicated? We're human, it's our job. I don't think there's any bulls walking around the pasture trying to blend in with the heifers. Blend yes, identify as, no.

on that note, why are we worried about heterosexual pedophiles in women's bathrooms and not about homosexual pedophiles in men's rooms? maybe instead of separating by gender, we need to separate by weight class. won't keep the rapists out, but it will make it more of a fair fight. [/absurdism] Then there is the possibility of heterosexual non-binaries in the women's bathroom. Actually, a man who identifies as woman but still has interests in women: would that be a heterosexual (biologically a male) or homosexual (identifies as a female)? I already alluded to that somewhere.

I'm not even saying that the boy that thinks he's really a girl has any ill intent. But why should 400 girls be forced to give up their privacy just because one person can't face reality and is confused about basic human plumbing? It sounds like we're back to those snowflakes again.

*Cue the non-binaries* You can't say that, it's offensive, insensitive and hurtful. You can't compare them to 'dirty old men'. (They claim) they would never intend to hurt somebody. They just want to do their business in the lavatory of their choosing. *Back to reality* It's not the law-abiding citizens we're worried about. It's the perverts and degenerates that will use the law changes to their advantage to locate and prey on what they see as easy targets that we're worried about. But, it's hard to tell one from the other and they will both cry foul play if try to stop them. For every person with a conscience, there's many more who lack one. As I stated before, it's not so much the go-in-the-stall-and-do-your-thing as it is forcing 14 year old high school girls to change and take showers with biologically male students just because that male student decides to say he is a girl that day. And yes, that is actually being done in the wonderful State of Illinois. The girls have no choice but to shower with the male or not graduate from school. The school even offered a private changing room and shower for the confused male, but the Justice Department said that wasn't acceptable because it made the male student feel that he wasn't being accepted. Can someone please try to justify this craziness for me, because I'm just not getting it. I cannot justify this "You will put up with this or suffer" choice being forced on the Girls, this is a step backwards in sex equality. If I do not feel comfortable being naked in front of someone, whoever they are, NO ONE has the right to demand that I MUST get naked. "Or fail the whole of high school" F--k Off. How will they react when the WHOLE SCHOOL responds with "Well fail all of us then" type demonstration against this type of rule?... Since WHEN did the needs of one person outweigh the needs of everyone else?. Either that confuse kid gets his own room, or he can get his own schooling "Elsewhere".

It all circles back to the courts' support that separate facilities = being exclusionary, which cannot be allowed. The longer this debate goes in, the more ridiculous it gets.

This was not a decision any court made. This was a decision that the Justice Department made under the guise of discrimination. And it wasn't that the school HAS to allow this. It was, "You allow this or we will blackmail you by cutting off federal funding." And I like the picture comparison. Maybe they can hire Anthony Wiener to handle that.

Somebody needs to just walk into the court room naked, stand there in front of the judges until they react and then go, "I'm sorry, am I making you uncomfortable by being naked in a place where it's generally accepted that I shouldn't be? Hmm... I wonder if that's how girls in high school locker rooms feel when they're confronted with male genitalia in the shower..."

Congrats to you Oziris, I think you have just put the whole case in a nut-shell..... Or is that too graphical for some?.

Meanwhile in Oregon... Neither Male Nor Female: Oregon Resident Legally Recognized As Third GenderThis guy is a former Army tank mechanic married (to a female) with a child. Oregon's first recognized, registered 'non-binary'... I don't care what you want to call yourself. If you have a rod dangling between legs, you are a HE, HIM, MALE... He wants to have coconuts and a banana?? He's a person, not a fruit salad. Til then, he can be an it or an hesh.
