Is it possible to add a "Mark all read" button to the "New Topics" list page?

Could you setup a section for cars and other transportation topics?
I never understood why they got rid of Cars and other Transportation Myths board. a very large percentage of the threads in the Everything Else board were just that.

Myths or discussions?

Since there's a "Science stuff and links" section, how about a "Historic stuff and links" section in a similar vein?
There were plenty of discussions on the disco boards that weren't really myths (often completely untestable) but discussions of historic facts/misconceptions.

Good idea. I might add a 'facts and information' section rather than have everything in the general board. Let me look into that.
*Edit*
Created a new section for facts, links and (none board related) questions and moved some stuff around. Hows that?

Oh Liege! any chance we can "dodge a bullet" and make ".50 cal" and "curve" trigger words for this forum with the appropriate links to the deepest pit?
{Post moved from the Oracle board}
{No, those terms/words have valid uses on their own. I'd like to avoid the situation we had on Discovery where apparently random words would mess up posting no matter how they were used.
Besides, its far more fun for me to shout at someone for not following the rules should they be posted to death. Even Gods need a hobby ;D - CM}

Regarding cars and transportation... Why not both? We had plenty of conversations that were directly myth related.

*Muses*
At the moment I don't think we need more sections in the Ideas forum, but I may add more if a lot of ideas are getting posted and it seems that we need to separate ideas out.
I did consider adding a Transportation section, but again right now I don't think that is really called for. I have expanded the 'Science Questions' section of the Oracle to cover engineering and technical questions/information. This will have to do for now.

Does this forum allow for email notifications? PM's? I can't find a link for configuring preferences.
Also, I find the text against the Mythbusters background difficult to find and nearly impossible to read. Can we disable the background on our end, or would it be possible to change the appearance of those links?

OK, it's clear I'm a dummy. The PM feature is obviously here.
But I'll trade that question for another... what happens when I bookmark a thread?

If you're running any adblocking software in your browser, you should be able to select the background image and block just that. From a quick test, it seems that the default background color is black and the breadcrumb menu shows up clearly against that.

Will you make a silly section so all the magic bullets, .50 cal, free energy, door of Titanic and all the other silly questions can be put go there?

From a quick test, it seems that the default background color is black and the breadcrumb menu shows up clearly against that. Good suggestion - but I was only able to get it to work partially. It blocked the background from just the top frame where it says "you have 0 messages". I'm running AdBlocker Plus. Any thoughts on how to add the right filter? Thanks.

I'm running ABP too. I added a filter for "i7.photobucket.com/albums/y275/Mortis_strike/mythbusters.jpg" and it removed the tiled background image from the entire page.
