almost forgot to mention while we were visiting MIL, there happened to be an episode of STD on her TV. it was the one where they discovered the spore drive was harming the tardigarde, for reference.
I was not so impressed with it as to pay money to watch more.

I was not so impressed with it as to pay money to watch more. It's to the point now that even hardcore Star Trek fans have given up on Discovery, Short Treks, and most of the other newer materials. The franchise is in dire need of a reboot and a refresh.

The franchise is in dire need of a reboot and a refresh. actually, what it needs is to go back to what made it distinctive - which was the hopeful outlook and noble ethics. otherwise, it's just one more sci-fi action show.
