It is a balmy 25F out here today, much better than the 5F we had the past two days.

Here in Sydney it's currently 27C (80.5F) with 54% humidity - Ye Gods I can't wait for winter. I'm one of those rare people who finds summer depressing!

Lex, I will trade with you any time you want...
However....
I fly like a Hump-Back Whale.
If you can imagine how difficult that would be, then I should be easy?... I cant manage more than about one hour in a commercial aircraft seat, I need leg room, I need the ability to stand up, and there is the problem... At well over 6ft, light fittings are a pain in the head.

I can't justify haring off to Aus, but you're welcome to come visit. the tourist board would love it.
but of course, the storm is over. I even went part of yesterday without my jacket on.

Forecast for this week in Connecticut: Gray. Just gray. Foggy, cloudy, occassional rain, temperatures in the 40's-50's(F). Gray.
P.S. Lex - I would love to have that weather right now...

You lucky, lucky sod! I hate you! Here's what it looks like here at the moment - want to trade? (please say yes) The weather here is pretty similar to what TUM has, but there's NO way I'm trading with you! Ever since Iraq, I'm not going anywhere with temps above 30 celcius! Some might argue that a trip to that particular beach would be worth the heat endurance just to see some women in bikinis, but I always come away disappointed from a trip like that. The bikini wearing crowd is usually divided up into two segments: 1. Bikini looks like it's hanging on a bike rack 2. Bikini has disappeared in blubber The women who are in between (curvy enough to jiggle, but not so much they can't stop again) have a tendency to stay away from the beaches for some weird reason. At least when I'm near one...

Sunny and 42 (5.5 C) right now -- if it weren't for the sustained 33 MPH winds, with gusts pushing 60 MPH, it would be a nice day. (Sustained - 53 KPH, Gusts - 96 KPH.)

(Sustained - 53 KPH, Gusts - 96 KPH.) got to a high of 53 or so. of course, frost on the ground (and on the roads) at around 10:00 this morning. (I would have taken a picture, but I was driving. Imagine the road being dry in the sunny spots and white and sparkly in the shady spots.)

After seeing the latest news from Australia, it appears to be so hot that the wildlife find themselves too overheated to kill the tourists.

Its Damp. The forecast is Damp. Its Grey overcast. The Forecast is more of the same. Highs of 9degC, lows of Frost. Its Non-Weather, its just nothing, it cant even decide if it wants to rain or not, its a sort of annoying cloud leak that you cant fix.

After seeing the latest news from Australia, it appears to be so hot that the wildlife find themselves too overheated to kill the tourists. LOL - Yep the annual BBQ is on again. But at least it's not as bad this time as it was a few years back. Floods, fires & freaky animals makes you wonder if Australia isn't so much Gods Own Country but God's Punching Bag.
