I looked up clownfish TV and the entire front page was either clownfish TV tooting their own horn through their various social media platforms (I.E. their youtube channel, their instagram feed, their fakebook page, their website, their other website, etc) and ONE article talking about a spat between them and a member of the anime community over allegations about a voice talent.
to me, that puts them in the "internet famous" category.

It’s seems there is a small self selecting group of people on YouTube who feed into each other’s opinion on such things and moving goal posts. Captain Marvel is going to flop we all think so, it will struggle to make its money back. It made more than a billion dollars. See we told you it would flop Avengers Endgame made 2 billion.

In this case, though:
1. "Solo" was a box office bomb, something regarded as unthinkable for a Star Wars film
2. Star Wars merchandise is rotting on store shelves, also once unthinkable
3. Estimates for Rise of Skywalker keep going *down* rather than up as one would expect
4. It's a cross-section of people complaining about the new films and associated merchandise
This is the part where someone in business *should* take a second to ask if maybe, just maybe, the fans are right in being critical and these are all signs that poor decisions have been made.
Instead, the general tone of this article, like several other pieces, is that entertainment companies should regard audiences as cows to be milked and nothing more, and that any fan who tries to complain should be shown the door no matter their financial and/or emotional investment. This is the kind of thing that kills franchises and even entire companies.

Two Notes;
Although there were more than a few who were understandably skeptical about claims made about pre-sales for Solo as well as reports about the same number of advanced ticket sales for Captain Marvel failing to turn up for multiple screenings. No one actually claimed that either film was going to bomb. In the case of Solo the most anyone was saying prior to release was that it wasn't going to perform as well as Disney would like or expect it too. No one thought for a second that the film would end up losing money. Many of the same thoughts about Solo apply to Episode IX, including no one expecting it to do under a Billion.
Replace the word 'Fan' with 'Customer'. Then ask how long ANY company will survive if it continually ignores its customers, especially when they have other options.

The couple behind Clownfish TV have actual ties to Disney, and the wife still runs a popular Disney blog. In their case it's easy to believe they still have a few friends at the company who are willing to feed them information.

Latest alleged leak: the Swedish version of the MPAA supposedly had a full write-up of the content.
The leak seems to confirm a number of previous rumors and spawns some new ones.

This is not, strictly speaking, a leak as it comes from an official source that has seen the film but one which is outside of Lucasfilm and Disney. The Swedish film classification board, unlike their counterpart in the US, has to explain WHY a film is given a specific rating and include specific scenes to indicate why. (I assume so parents can, if they wish, make a much more informed decision as to if their kids could handle watching it) I'm not going to give specifics as to what they said, as that would be spoiler territory, but all the examples they gave line up with aspects of the alleged script leak.

I saw some of those. Interesting is not those sucking up to Disney, but some of those who are not; Jeremy Johns (sp?) and John Campea in particular.
I'm wary of taking these initial reactions too seriously, since this is a small number of hand selected people and some of these companies in question have close ties to Disney. And yes this does include Campea and Johns(sp?).
Nor, I will add, am I taking some of the YouTubers seriously when they claim that EpIX is a 'dumpster fire'.

I thought I'd add a review of EP IX from someone who, as a general rule, doesn't really review films. The YouTuber in question is Shadiversity, who typically makes videos on history, specifically weapons from the medieval period although he has 'reviewed' both films and some TV shows for historical accuracy.
From what I have seen of him he takes a balanced view of 'reviews', being able to laugh at the mistakes but understanding when they are made for cinematic/visual reasons. He also explains WHY he feels certain things don't work, and is willing and able to state when there are things he likes.
What I find interesting about this review is that it seems this is VERY much in keeping with what the majority of people are saying; Basically its garbage. (This includes people who have, up to now, defended Disney Wars) Although Shad's review could be summed up as 'A steaming pile of crap'.
Note; The review has two sections, the first a general review that some *may* consider contains some minor spoilers as to the general content of the film. The second (much larger) section is the spoiler section.
The spoiler part starts at 14;27.

I've watched a few of his videos about medieval stuff, I rate his expertise in that as being between cosplayer and recreationist. depending on whether Mrs TLW gets back from the doctor in time, we may or may not be seeing it tonight.
