Doomcock has received additional - although suspect - reports that George Lucas did indeed attempt to re-cut one of the Disney-era movies and that his cut has been suppressed because it goes against Kathleen Kennedy's attempts.

Leaks allegedly from within Disney are saying that they've thrown in the towel and will be looking at ways to retroactively remove the sequel trilogy from the canon, consigning it to an alternate dimension of sorts.

Following on from the last video, a purported information leak is claiming that Kathleen Kennedy's contract will not be renewed, and that she's going to instead start her own all-female production team.

Doomcock has been sent even more alleged leaks, this time about alleged issues with the filming of "Rise of Skywalker".
The source is saying that as much as 40% of the film was re-shot, with re-shoots going as late as November 7th.

Latest round of rumors:
Kathleen Kennedy had indeed been planning to go ahead with the Knights of the Old Republic series, with Rian Johnson, Taika Watiti, and Brie Larson attached to the project.
...But when the powers-that-be learned Rian Johnson was going to be involved, they demanded that Kennedy appear and present everything she had to them. It's a heavy implication that they were upset by his continued involvement in the franchise, and they were demanding to see all the cards.

So the rumour mill is churning over the same stuff, in a time when there is little actual movie production and so actual real news going on. It doesn’t make it true.
Is this the same Doomcock that said Brie Lawson was awful as Captain Marvel, it would get no fans, loose money etc. Oh yeah Captain Marvel 2 has been announced with a Brie Lawson for April 2022, providing the virus allows.

And the $1.1 billion box office giving a healthy return on the $175 million budget plus say another $200 million on marketing still making around $700 profit has nothing to do with them lining up to do another movie. Whilst a number of people like Doomcock did not like the film, there is another demographic particularly young girls and women who went out to see the film, enjoyed having an empowered female superhero, and were willing to pay for it.

I am quite honestly getting a bit tired of the toxic fandoms trying to trash movies and then trying to accuse studios of falsely accusing them of trying to trash movies. I saw the people piling on to hate black panther before it was even in theatres. I see the idiots claiming brie Larson didn't know who her character was; when in fact brie larson's CHARACTER didn't know who she was, so of course an actress of any talent at all would play it like she didn't know who she was.
what I see destroying the entertainment industry is writers not writing anything new; or movie franchises being built by committee. that was the REAL problem with Star Wars ep. VII-IX. they didn't write the story arc in advance, didn't have one person supervising the screewriting to make sure it was a continuous story, didn't have a continuity cop to make sure they didn't violate canon six ways to sunday.
it WASN'T because this trilogy's untrained character from a backwater desert planet had ovaries instead of testes.

I was at the area J. C. Penney store today, and spotted this display. The copyright date on the figures is 2016, indicating that even *with* them being on clearance they've been there for four years now. This is very, very awful from the perspective of the modern toy industry, as most of those toys should have been sold within four *months* of hitting the shelves.

Wow! They are selling stale star war figures. I am reminded of a line of sweatshirts a salesman hit my parents with. they ordered a batch of them, and they were gone in a couple months. so they reordered an THOSE were gone in a few months. so they placed another order and half of those sold, while the rest have been working their way through my mother's closet. the moral of the story is the number that are left over don't necessarily reflect on the first four moths' sales figures.

Rumors coming out of Disney are that the Galaxy's Edge attractions at the various Disney theme parks may be reworked to represent The Mandalorian rather than the sequel trilogies in a bid to bring more people in.

More and more rumors and leaks are emerging to the effect that Kathleen Kennedy was *already* looking to fire Gina Carano before she said anything on social media, and that her doing so was part of a larger power struggle between Kennedy and the other people who Disney have been trying to bring in to replace her.

Can we get something other than internet rumors? The rumors have not been overly reliable so far.
